विवाह में कन्या के सात वचन क्या है? और जाने शादी के सात फेरे का महत्व

भारतीय विवाह संस्कृति में, विवाह समारोह के दौरान कन्या और वर (दुल्हा) द्वारा सात वचन (सात प्रतिज्ञाएँ) लिए जाते हैं, जिन्हें सात फेरे (सात चक्र) के रूप में भी जाना जाता है। इन सात फेरों का महत्व विवाह के बंधन को मजबूत करने के रूप में माना जाता है और यह पति और पत्नी के बीच साझा जीवन के सात पहलुओं को प्रतिष्ठित करता है।

हिंदू धर्म में शादी का मतलब 7 जन्मों का साथ होता है। एक बार किसी के साथ 7 फेरे ले लिया तो उस रिश्ते को सात जन्मों तक निभाने का वादा करते हैं। विवाह हिंदू धर्म के सोलह संस्कारों में एक होता है। विवाह के दौरान पंडित कई सारी रस्में और मंत्र पढ़ते हैं। इन्ही रस्मों में लड़का और लड़की अग्नि को साक्षी मानकर 7 फेरे लेते हैं। इन 7 फेरों को करते समय पंडित 7 वचनों को संस्कृत भाषा में बोलते हैं। आइए जानते हैं  विवाह के दौरान लिए जाने वाले 7 फेरों का मतलब और महत्व।

सात फेरों का महत्व:

  1. तीर्थव्रतोद्योपन यज्ञकर्म मया सहैव प्रियवयं कुर्याय वामांगमायामि
     तदा त्वदीयं ब्रवीति वाक्यं प्रथमं कुमारी !!

अर्थ- यदि आप शादी के बाद कोई व्रत-उपवास और किसी धार्मिक स्थान पर जाएं तो आप मुझे भी अपने साथ लेकर जाएं। अगर आप मेरे बातों से सहमत हैं तो मैं आपके साथ जीवन यापन करने के लिए तैयार हूं।

  1. पुज्यौ यथा स्वौ पितरौ ममापि तथेशभक्तो निजकर्म कुर्या:,
    वामांगमायामि तदा त्वदीयं ब्रवीति कन्या वचनं द्वितीयम !!

अर्थ-आप जैसे अपने माता -पिता का सम्मान करते हैं, ठीक वैसे ही आप मेरे माता-पिता का भी सम्मान करेंगे। परिवार की मर्यादा का पालन करेंगे। अगर आप इस बात को स्वीकार करते हैं तो मुझे आपके वामांग में आना स्वीकार है।

  1. जीवनम अवस्थात्रये मम पालनां कुर्यात,
    वामांगंयामि तदा त्वदीयं ब्रवीति कन्या वचनं तृ्तीयं !!

अर्थ- तीसरे वचन में कन्या अपने वर से कहती हैं कि आप मुझे वचन दीजिए कि जीवन की तीनों अवस्थाओं में मेरे साथ खड़े रहेंगे। मेरे बातों का पालन करते रहेंगे, तो ही मैं आपके वामांग में आने को तैयार हूं।

  1. कुटुम्बसंपालनसर्वकार्य कर्तु प्रतिज्ञां यदि कातं कुर्या:,
    वामांगमायामि तदा त्वदीयं ब्रवीति कन्या वचनं चतुर्थं !!

अर्थ- कन्या चौथे वचन में ये मांगती है कि अब तक आप घर-परिवार की चिंता से मुक्त थे। अब जब आप विवाह बंधन में बंधने जा रहे हैं तो आपको अपने परिवार की जिम्मेदारियों को बखूबी निभाना होगा। अगर आप मेरे बात से सहमत है तो मैं आपके साथ आने के लिए तैयार हूं।

  1. स्वसद्यकार्ये व्यवहारकर्मण्ये व्यये मामापि मन्त्रयेथा,
    वामांगमायामि तदा त्वदीयं ब्रूते वच: पंचमत्र कन्या !!

अर्थ-  इस वचन में कन्या अपने वर से कहती हैं कि अगर आप घर परिवार के लेन देन में मेरी भी राय हो तो मैं आपके वामांग में आना स्वीकार करती हूं।

  1. न मेपमानमं सविधे सखीनां द्यूतं न वा दुर्व्यसनं भंजश्चेत,
    वामाम्गमायामि तदा त्वदीयं ब्रवीति कन्या वचनं च षष्ठम !!

अर्थ- कन्या कहती है यदि मैं अपनी सखियों के साथ बैठकर कुछ समय बीता रही हूं तो उस समय आप किसी प्रकार का अपमान नहीं करेंगे। साथ ही आपको जुआ के लत से खुद को दूर रखना होगा। अगर आप हमारी बातों को मानते हैं तो मैं आपके वामांग में आने को तैयार हूं।

  1. परस्त्रियं मातृसमां समीक्ष्य स्नेहं सदा चेन्मयि कान्त कुर्या,
    वामांगमायामि तदा त्वदीयं ब्रूते वच: सप्तममत्र कन्या !!

अर्थ-अंतिम वचन में कन्या कहती हैं कि आप पराई औरतों को माता और बहन के सामान समझेंगे तथा पति-पत्नी के प्रेम के बीच में तीसरे किसी भी व्यक्ति को जगह नहीं देंगे तो मैं आपके वामांग में आने को तैयार हूं।

इन सात फेरों के माध्यम से, पति और पत्नी एक-दूसरे के साथ एक समर्पित और साझा जीवन का प्रतिज्ञान देते हैं, जिसका महत्व उनके विवाहित जीवन में बढ़ जाता है। यह समर्पण, साथी के साथ संबंधों को मजबूत और स्थिर बनाने में मदद करता है और उनके जीवन को सुखमय बनाता है।
